Again taken at Houd Tor I like how despite there being a person in the shot there is no focus lost from the rock formation of the Tor. Again I would only change the grey sky that plagues the background.

Hound Tor
I took another photograph at Hound Tor but decided to capture some of the surrounding landscape that makes up the majority of Dartmoor.
Hound Tor Rocks
A shot of Hound Tor and the rock formation. I like how well the rocks are focused on, perfectly framing them and making the subject of the shot very clear.
The Big Chair
Although the skies are very grey I feel I managed to take a photograph that frames the subject well. I would rather have taken the image under better lighting conditions but I am happy with the shot otherwise.
Dartmoor
I feel that living in Devon means I am obliged to photograph on Dartmoor for location photography. This was the perfect opportunity to take some photographs that show natural locations of interest.

Ilford Continued
On the Ilford site we found a couple of old wheel chairs. I took photographs of both. I like how the different setting compliments the subject differently. For instance how the trees in the background make one image brighter and are in juxtaposition of the subject, the run down wheel chair. Whereas the other setting make the images a lot eerier and creepier, whilst adding a darker element to the shot.
I have decided to edit this shot as I feel it could be a lot darker and eerier and I would like to exxagerate its dark and creepy qualities. To do this I am going to use burn and sharpen tools as well as playing with contrast and colour levels. This was the result of my editing. I love the emphasis on the shadows and the grey's and blues in the shot.
Ilford
After a recent visit to Ilford I managed to take many shots of run down and derelict buildings, I think these are a great contrast to the previous images of Totnes and Sandygate as these relay a more friendly, bright and positive feeling, whereas these following shots are very grey and dark.
This was one of the first shots I took, using a manual shoot mode with digital image stablisation. It nicely frames 3 buildings which doesn't even start to capture the sheer amount of derelict buildings on the site.
This shot was a more close up look at one of the buildings. Really captures the age of the place as the plants creep over the building. Almost showing nature and man's creations coming together.
